The "meant to be" concept
Today my mind was dancing around the concept of what is meant to be... And my question is: how do we know what is meant to be? Is it only when things are simple and happen easily and smoothly? Agreeing with that statement seem to take away the fact that we often time are in need to learn lessons that we can only experience when things are not running smoothly. the universe gives us challenges to test our faith, our integrity, our determination, and whatever else it deems appropriate to test us with, at any given moment, with each an every choice we make. I happen to believe that along with the loving, constructive forces of the light, there are some dark forces of manipulation and destruction, and it is ultimately up to us, our intuition and the very fiber of our being to choose and act in alignment with who we are or who we want to become. It is not always true that only what happens flawlessly is meant to be, the same is true for the opposite: often time what was hard to accomplish was meant to be that way, for the lessons it contained. I have experienced, and watched friends experience scenarios that were not meant to be the way they turned out to be. i believe that the intended outcome was in their favor, it started flawlessly and then the obstacles came unexpectedly, a tug a war of back and forth of problems and solution. Shall we call it interference? What do you do, give up when it is like that? Assume it was not in your destiny and give up? Or do you fight for it? Try and try again until you get it right, until you have thought of every little things that may go wrong and created a way around it, overcame the obstacles, fought the opposition with everything you had and only then... only then, if it was not manifest, you have a right to give up, to throw in the towel saying i tried everything i could and i failed. Let's imagine for a moment that there are forces at war against each other in the universe, the so called war against good and evil, and humanity is stuck in the middle trying to decide who is holding the strings of any given scenario. what do we do? How do we know? Are we always to choose the easy path? i do not think so. Not everyone is blessed to have the kind of guidance to direct them through the maze of life. With or without that guidance however, it is up to each individual to trust our intuitions and act upon them, or not to act at all. For too long we have been thought to believe what we are told without questions, we have been told who the good guys and the bed guys are, counting on the fact that we are naive enough not to question our sources. Was it meant to be that most of us are working over 8 hours per day and we still don't make the bills? There is nothing anyone can tell me to convince me that our maker intended for the water, the air and our soil to be as polluted as we have allowed it to become, for our food to be filled with antibiotic, hormones and assorted poisons. For some to pretend to be able to afford to finance a war and others not be able to feed their children. We allowed it to be this way because it is easier not to question. A magic act begins in thought form, is transformed into word, and then action: if we all would believe that nothing is ever what is seems, admitting that we truly know nothing and re-learn to question and think for ourselves, unafraid to trust our intuition and voice our opinion, acting accordingly, the world would magically change into a much better place to live in. What do you think?
